Important License and Permit Application Information! You’ll need one marriage license regardless, and one special use permit, if you plan to get married in Glacier National Park!
Marriage License
Every couple needs one of these before proceeding.

Open Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm.
Their busiest times are later in the day, so planning to be there earlier could benefit your schedule and get you on to the fun stuff quicker! The office is located on the third floor. You’ll need both of your driver’s licenses or passports, for proof of identification. There is a $53 fee. After getting married, you’ll need to sign it and drop it in the mail with THIS FORM!


Glacier National Park Special Use Permit
This is only necessary if you’re wanting to be married in Glacier National Park. LINK TO APPLY HERE!
Dates and times need to be on the permit, as well as how many guests will be included in your group (this includes vendors). There is a $100 fee. Don’t forget to bring both of these forms with you the day of your intended ceremony!

Battery pack for phone (spotty cell service in the park)
Small first aid kit
Small sewing kit
Makeup kit for touchups
Cash for refreshment
Vendor payments and tips
Portable speaker (if music is desired at ceremony)
Ziploc baggies for small items
Small bubbly or beer (for nerves or celebration)
Trash bags (leave no trace in the park!)
